Cancellation policy
Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy
Cherry Beauty Bar | Cherry Academy
Cherry Beauty Bar offers educational programmes, private mentorship experiences and professional training through upfront payments and selected instalment arrangements.
This policy outlines the payment commitments, cancellation procedures and conditions associated with these purchase options.
By purchasing a programme through a payment plan, students acknowledge and agree to the payment schedule disclosed at checkout, subject to their rights under Australian Consumer Law.
1. General Payment Plan Terms
Payment plans are offered as an alternative method of paying for a programme or training experience.
Each payment plan has a defined total price, payment frequency and number of scheduled instalments.
Unless expressly identified as an ongoing membership, these arrangements are fixed-term payment plans rather than month-to-month memberships.
Selecting an instalment arrangement does not reduce the total programme investment. Where applicable, payment plan pricing may differ from the upfront purchase price.
Payments are automatically processed using the payment method authorised at checkout.
The applicable payment schedule and total amount payable are disclosed before purchase.
2. Nail Mastery Online — 12-Month Payment Plan
Students enrolling in Nail Mastery Online may select either the upfront purchase option or the 12-month payment plan.

The payment plan is an instalment arrangement for the educational programme, not a cancel-anytime monthly membership.
Any cancellation request, outstanding payment obligation or refund entitlement will be assessed in accordance with the enrolment agreement and Australian Consumer Law.
3. Nail Mastery — In-Person Training Add-On
The Nail Mastery In-Person Training Add-On is an optional practical training experience available to eligible Nail Mastery Online students.
The in-person training fee is separate from the Nail Mastery Online enrolment fee.

Training Booking & Payment Requirements
Training dates are arranged individually and are subject to availability.
Students selecting the two-payment plan must arrange their training dates sufficiently in advance to allow the payment schedule to be completed.
The full training fee must be received at least 14 calendar days before the first scheduled training day.
A payment plan purchase does not automatically confirm a particular training date. Dates must be separately agreed with Cherry Academy.
If the outstanding balance has not been paid by the required deadline, training may need to be rescheduled in accordance with the applicable booking terms and Australian Consumer Law.
4. The Atelier — Private Mentorship
The Atelier offers private, personalised professional mentorship experiences, including Half Day and Full Day training.
Students may select an upfront purchase or an available instalment arrangement, depending on the programme and options offered at checkout.

Eligible instalment arrangements are displayed at checkout.
The Atelier Full Day
-
Upfront programme price: $2,297 AUD.
-
Eligible instalment arrangements are displayed at checkout.
Available payment arrangements may include an initial payment followed by scheduled monthly or fortnightly instalments.
The specific payment amount, frequency, number of instalments and total amount payable are determined by the payment option selected at checkout.
Students agree to the disclosed payment schedule when purchasing their mentorship experience.
Training & Payment Requirements
Training dates are arranged individually and are subject to availability.
Any payment deadlines applicable to a student's Atelier booking will be communicated as part of their enrolment and booking confirmation.
Where a payment remains outstanding, Cherry Academy may discuss alternative arrangements or rescheduling with the student, subject to the agreed booking terms and applicable consumer law.
5. Automatic Payments & Authorisation
By selecting an automatic payment plan, students authorise the nominated payment method to be charged according to the payment schedule disclosed at checkout.
Automatic payments are processed through the payment services used by Cherry Beauty Bar and Cherry Academy.
Students are responsible for maintaining valid payment details and ensuring sufficient funds are available for scheduled instalments.
Payment arrangements are configured to conclude once the specified number of successful payments has been completed.
A failed or delayed payment may affect the completion date of the payment schedule.
6. Failed or Overdue Payments
If a scheduled payment is unsuccessful, Cherry Academy or its payment provider may notify the student and attempt to process the payment again in accordance with the applicable payment arrangement.
Students may be asked to update their payment details or arrange payment of an outstanding balance.
Where permitted by the applicable enrolment agreement and Australian Consumer Law, overdue payments may result in temporary restrictions on programme access or postponement of in-person training.
Cherry Academy will communicate with affected students regarding outstanding payments and available options.
7. Cancellation of Payment Plans
Students may submit a request to cancel their payment arrangement by contacting Cherry Academy.
A request to stop future automatic payments is distinct from a request to cancel enrolment in a programme or training experience.
Cancellation requests will be assessed with reference to:
-
The programme or service purchased.
-
The payment terms agreed at enrolment.
-
Any educational content or services already supplied.
-
Any confirmed training arrangements.
-
Any applicable outstanding payment obligations.
-
The student's rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Stopping automatic payments does not necessarily extinguish an existing obligation to pay amounts lawfully due under an enrolment agreement.
However, no provision of this policy requires a student to make payments that are not lawfully payable or limits their statutory rights.
Any applicable refund, cancellation outcome or remaining payment obligation will be communicated to the student.
8. Refunds
Refund requests are assessed individually in accordance with the applicable enrolment agreement and Australian Consumer Law.
Cherry Academy does not exclude or restrict any refund, remedy or consumer guarantee that applies under Australian law.
Where a student is entitled to a refund or another remedy under Australian Consumer Law, that entitlement will be honoured.
A change of mind does not automatically entitle a student to a refund, although any applicable contractual cancellation rights will still be considered.
Where a programme or training service cannot be supplied as agreed, Cherry Academy will work with the student to provide an appropriate remedy consistent with their legal rights.
9. In-Person Training Cancellations & Rescheduling
Training dates for Nail Mastery In-Person and The Atelier are arranged individually.
Students wishing to cancel or reschedule a confirmed training date should contact Cherry Academy as soon as possible.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and the terms agreed at booking.
Any applicable cancellation charges or treatment of payments already made must be consistent with the enrolment agreement and Australian Consumer Law.
If Cherry Academy needs to cancel or reschedule a training session, the student will be contacted to discuss an appropriate alternative or remedy.
Nothing in this section limits the student's statutory rights.
10. Course Access
Online programme access periods are specified in the relevant product description or enrolment agreement.
For Nail Mastery Online, the standard enrolment includes 12 months of access.
Completion of an instalment payment plan does not automatically extend the original programme access period.
Any extension or renewal of access will be subject to separately disclosed terms and pricing.
Where course access is affected by cancellation, failed payments or another enrolment issue, Cherry Academy will act in accordance with the applicable agreement and consumer law.
11. Other Courses & Payment Arrangements
Cherry Academy may offer additional educational programmes, mentorship experiences or payment arrangements.
Where a programme has different payment amounts, frequencies, access periods or booking conditions, the specific terms disclosed for that programme will apply.
Any separate enrolment or mentorship agreement should be read together with this policy.
If terms are inconsistent, they will be interpreted in a manner that preserves the student's rights under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Any term found to be unlawful or unenforceable will not affect the operation of the remaining lawful provisions of this policy.
13. Contact & Payment Enquiries
For payment plan enquiries, cancellation requests, rescheduling or assistance with an existing enrolment, please contact Cherry Academy through the contact information available on the Cherry Beauty Bar website.
